Bond proposal defeated in Catahoula Parish, La. District wanted to build a high school to replace four existing facilities.

Voters in the Catahoula Parish (La.) district have rejected a $10.9 million bond proposal that would have led to consolidating four high schools into one. The money would have enabled the district to build one new high school for the entire district; the parish has four high schools that serve a total of fewer than 400 students.
