National Louis University looks to sublease 2 Chicago-area campuses

With declining enrollment, school has excess space in Skokie and Lisle

From ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com: With its enrollment down almost 17 percent from a few years ago, National Louis University has put up for sublease two campuses totaling about 187,000 square feet in suburban Chicago. The school, based in Skokie, Ill., is looking to sublease about 102,000 square feet in Skokie and another 86,000 in Lisle. Enrollment of new students in the school's National College of Education is down nearly 30 percent from fiscal 2008, to fiscal 2011. The education school accounts for 55 percent of National Louis' student body. National Louis has five Chicago-area locations, two in Wisconsin and one in Florida.
