Duluth district is converting former middle school into a high school

$40 million project will more than double the size of existing facility

From The Duluth Tribune: The Duluth (Minn.) district is converting the former Ordean Middle School into a high school campus. A 140,000-square-foot addition is being added to the existing 128,000-square-foot school to more than double its size. The addition will include an auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, classrooms and administrative offices. The project also includes a new stadium, field house, track and field. The $40 million project is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2011-12 school year.
