Wu Ying and Qu Ming were slain last month in Los Angeles near the USC campus

From China Daily: The parents of two Chinese students who were shot to death near the Los Angeles campus of the University of Southern California have filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the institution. Wu Ying and Qu Ming, both 23 and electrical engineering graduate students, were killed while sitting in a car near their home. An attorney for USC says the shootings were a tragedy, but that there is no grounds for a lawsuit.

More...from The Daily Trojan: The suit alleges that USC intentionally misrepresents the safety of its surrounding areas to international students and its effort to provide public safety services.
