Lakeview (Neb.) voters reject bond for high school expansion
The Lakeview (Neb.) school district has failed to win approval of a bond issue of slightly less than $3 million. The money would have paid for the expansion of the Lakeview High School building and the addition of a multi-purpose gymnasium to help incorporate a junior high.

EARLIER: The Lakeview (Neb.) Community School District is asking voters on June 12 to approve a $3 million bond proposal to expand its high school. The funds also would pay for a multipurpose gymnasium to help incorporate a junior high. The total cost of the project is $3,689,500; the remaining $689,500 would come from the district's building fund reserve.
