Kansas City (Mo.) district works to sell unused facilities

Sales efforts get mixed reviews from community groups
June 9, 2009

From The Kansas City Star: After years of letting vacant buildings deteriorate, the Kansas City (Mo.) School District is pushing hard to sell some of the properties. Bidders are not required to get the neighborhood’s blessing, but real estate agents are encouraging developers to make community approval part of their bid packages.
