Santa Fe (N.M.) district seeks voter approval for $160 million proposal

Money would be used to expand and upgrade many campuses

TheSanta Fe (N.M.) School District is asking voters in February to approve a $160 million bond proposal. The money would enable the district to pay for upgrades and expansions at more than a dozen school campuses. Several schools will receive additional classroom space to relieve crowding and reduce the dependency on portable classrooms. Other campuses will be remodeled so they can accommodates grades K to 8.
