Pennsylvania college plans $32 million facility

Project would enable Valley Forge Military Academy & College to double its enrollment

From The Philadelphia Inquirer: Valley Forge Military Academy & College in Wayne, Pa., plans to build a $32 million academic facility that would enable the coed junior college to more than double its enrollment. The project would provide space for the college to grow to 500 cadets for the 2014-15 academic year. It would be financed by private donations and state and federal funds. The proposed 50,000-square-foot facility would have 10 classrooms, four seminar rooms, four science labs, two cadet/faculty research labs, a lecture room, offices, and a military museum. The school also plans to build additional barracks and living space. The architect is Celli-Flynn Brennan Architectural & Planning.
