Texas district settles school-prayer lawsuit

Medina Valley district agrees that its employees will not proselytize or elicit prayer

From The Houston Chronicle: The Medina Valley (Texas) Independent School District has agreed in a court settlement that its teachers, administrators and other employees will not pray with students, elicit prayer, proselytize or display religious artifacts. The lawsuit contended that school officials frequently mixed religion with school events.
