From The Mobile Press-Register: The Mobile County (Ala.) school board has voted to allow Superintendent Martha Peek to enter into a contract to sell $100 million in bonds for various construction projects. The board has tentatively decided to build a new $28 million Citronelle High, a new $16 million K-8 school to replace Brazier Elementary and Chastang Middle and a new $10 million Mae Eanes Middle. Other projects would include: a $2 million football stadium for B.C. Rain, Murphy and Williamson high schools to share; $3 million to renovate the exterior of Barton Academy; major renovations at five schools; additions at two schools; and new multi-purpose buildings at seven elementary schools.
