Patrons of tiny Oregon district prefer painful cuts to consolidation

Gaston administrators say options including consolidation, privatization of services, and sharing certain services with another district. If district officials choose consolidation, they'll likely approach Forest Grove or Yamhill Carlton about taking in Gaston's students.
