California man sought for threatening deadly school violence that would make Virginia Tech "look mild"
A SWAT team in Yuba City, Calif., has surrounded a house near a middle school where officials believe a suspect who had threatened a killing spree at area schools may be nearby. Jeffery Thomas Carney, 28, is being sought and is possibly armed with automatic weapons and explosives. Carney allegedly has threatened a spree of violence that he said would make Virginia Tech "look mild."
