Richard Roberts quits in the midst of allegations that he misused school resources

The Board of Regents for Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., is meeting to consider what to do in the wake of last week's resignation of President Richard Roberts. The regents had been scheduled to hear the results of an investigation of allegations against the former president and his wife. Roberts, son of the school's founder, resigned Friday following allegations that he and his family misused university resources.

Richard Roberts is taking a leave of absence as president of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., but will remain as chairman and chief executive officer of Oral Roberts Ministries. The announcement comes 15 days after he was accused of misconduct in a lawsuit filed against him by three former Oral Roberts professors. (Daily Oklahoman)
