From The Southeast Missourian: Voters in the Cape Girardeau (Mo.) district have decided overwhelmingly in favor of a $40 million bond proposal to replace an elementary school, build an event complex and address deferred maintenance

January 2010...from KFVS-TV: Voters in the Cape Girardeau (Mo.) district will decide on April 6 on a $40 million bond proposal. The projects that would be covered in the bond issue include a 16-classroom addition, a new auditorium, and new stadium for the high school. The district also would build a new school on the site of Franklin Elementary.
