Reconstruction underway at flood-damaged campus in Slidell, La.
With construction under way, flood-damaged Brock Elementary School in Slidell, La., is on track to reopen for the 2008-09 school year, school and FEMA officials say. Brock has not reopened at its campus since the school building was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Its 300 K-5 students are attending classes in modular buildings at St. Tammany Junior High School.
