Kansas district prepares for new elementary school
The Auburn-Washburn (Kan.) Unified School District is planning to break ground later this year on a new elementary school. The district expects the The 92,000-square-foot facility will be completed for the 2009-10 school year. It will serve as many as 600 elementary children and include space for 120 to 240 children in early-childhood programs. The architect is Horst, Terrill & Karst Architects.
