Two universities will join forces at cancer institute

Notre Dame and Indiana universities will work together at IU school of medicine in South Bend
From The Indianapolis Star: Cancer researchers from the University of Notre Dame and Indiana University soon will be working together at a new lab, backed by a $10 million gift from the foundation of retired ConAgra Foods chief executive Charles M. Harper and $10 million from the state. The Harper Cancer Research Institute is on the campus of the Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend. The 55,000-square-foot expansion includes faculty offices, research laboratories and meeting rooms. Harper Hall is expected to be half-occupied in a year and fully occupied in two years.
