Families of fourTexas A&M students killed in a 1999 bonfire collapse on the College Station campus will share $2.1 million with three injured students in a settlement ending a lawsuit. The agreement brings total payments to victims and their families to $7.6 million. The action ends litigation against the university, but lawsuits are still being pursued against companies that provided machinery and personnel involved in erecting the deadly pyre.
