Janitor firm says Detroit district owes it money

Company says it may have to close because school district hasn't paid it.

A janitorial firm that has long servedDetroit Public Schools is in jeopardy of closing unless the district pays it for past work. Hercules and Hercules Inc., which has contracted with the district for at least 15 years, is one of several vendors who say the district's failure to pay their bills is leaving them struggling to pay their own employees.
