Potential residents would be students from Rockhurst University and University of Missouri-Kansas City
From The Kansas City Star: The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph wants to build a 363-bed residence hall in Kansas City, Mo., geared toward Catholic students at Rockhurst University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). The $19 million, five-story facility would be on the site of a former Catholic elementary school across the street from Rockhurst and a couple of blocks from UMKC. A developer's feasibility study says the housing would serve Catholic students at each university and would not be limited to Catholics. Neither Rockhurst nor UMKC has a role in the construction plans; each institution says it neither supports nor opposes it.
