Hebrew College will sell its campus in Newton Centre, Mass.

School is millions of dollars in debt

From The Boston Globe: Hebrew College, seeking to eliminate $32.1 million in debt, will sell its campus in Newton Centre, Mass., built less than a decade ago by internationally acclaimed architect Moshe Safdie. The college will lease space at neighboring Andover Newton Theological School as of August 2011 or August 2012, depending on the timing of the sale. Hebrew College educates 1,400 to 1,500 students in a variety of learning programs, including a graduate school of Jewish education.
