A company that leases computers is the latest firm to accuse cash-strapped Detroit Public Schools of shirking its bills. General Electric Capital Corp. has filed a lawsuit accusing the district of failing to make a $254,000 payment in May for leased Apple computers and servers. Others that have accused the district of being delinquent with bill payments: a janitorial firm, a cab company, the contractor hired to clear 33 schools that were closed last year and other vendors.
