Two finalists for Seattle superintendent

Both are experienced educators from the East Coast.

Seattle Public Schools' next leader will be an experienced educator from the East Coast, with a reputation for turning around struggling urban schools with diverse populations. The two finalists are Maria L. Goodloe-Johnson, superintendent of the Charleston County (S.C.) Schools, and Gregory Thornton, chief academic officer at the School District of Philadelphia.
