Plumas Unified District tries to address declining enrollment

From The Sacramento Bee: Plumas County, Calif., communities are reeling under a recommendation to close three schools. The plan, proposed by Plumas Unified School District Superintendent Glenn Harris, has met with strong opposition throughout the rural county. Under the proposal, the district would close Greenville High School and Taylorsville Elementary School, and the two elementary schools in Quincy would be consolidated.
