More student housing at University of Arkansas

March 11, 2007
Two residence hall buildings are under construction and set to open for the fall semester.

The University of Arkansas is completing construction on the Maple Hill residence hall on its Fayetteville campus. The project has two buildings and will provide housing for 709 students. Each suite will have two 2-person rooms, a compartmentalized bathroom and an entry foyer that gives access to bedrooms and the bath. Each “suite community” of 48 students will have a soft seating study room, a conference style room for group study and a small laundry. Each pair of communities also will share a large kitchen/den activity space, situated in the center of every wing on all floors. The architect is AFHJ Architects & Planners.
