Catholic high school in Illinois to test hair for drugs
St. Viator Catholic High School in Arlington Heights, Ill., will require that students next year submit hair samples for mandatory drug tests. Rev. Robert Egan, the school's president, says the measure is a "realistic approach" to fighting the proliferation of drugs. The school isn't alone in its stance. St. Patrick High School in Chicago started testing hair samples of all of its students in 2004.
