Administrators in North Carolina district give up bonuses

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City officials will give money to foundation that supports the district

From The Raleigh News & Observer: The superintendent of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City (N.C.) Schools and other top-level administrators will forgo their bonuses this year and contribute them to a foundation that supports the school system. In addition to Superintendent Neil Pedersen (whose bonus was $7,550), the administrators are Denise Bowling ($4,191), assistant superintendent for instruction; Todd LoFrese ($4,155), assistant superintendent of support services; and Ray Reitz ($4,185), the chief technology officer.
