Most laid-off teachers in Columbus (Ohio) district are recalled

From The Columbus Dispatch: The Columbus (Ohio) district is likely to recall almost all of the 113 teachers who were laid off at the end of last school year. The Columbus Education Association says the district already has sent recall notices to 96 of the teachers - or 85 percent. As many as 17 of those recalled either had found new jobs or declined the offer to return for other reasons.
