Students, staff say abatement has taken too long

From The New York Daily News: Students and staff at a Queens special-needs school are suing New York City for $500 million for taking more than 10 years to clean their asbestos-laden building. The suit contends that The city education department received endless complaints about Public School 256's annex in Belle Harbor, where rooms were rife with lead paint, asbestos and mold.
