$350 million bond proposal recommended for Round Rock (Texas) district

Citizens committee urges board to hold election in November

A citizens committee in the Round Rock (Texas) district has recommended a $350 million bond proposal that would be placed before voters Nov. 4. The 52-member committee of parents and community leaders presented the board a series of proposed projects including $42.2 million for new classroom additions and renovations at Westwood High School and $40.5 million for new rooms and remodeling at Round Rock High School.
