Accrediting body says it may take action against Warren County system
From The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: For the second time in as many years, a regional agency intends to revoke the accreditation of a Georgia school system. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools says that the Warren County district, about 40 miles west of Augusta, could lose accreditation. It is a rural system with about 800 students in three schools. It previously was put on probation for governance issues. The association had previously pulled its affiliation from another system, Clayton County.
