Prosecutors say Robert Davis stole more than $125,000 from district
From The Detroit News: Highland Park (Mich.) school board member Robert Davis, an activist who has repeatedly challenged the state's attempted restructuring of Detroit's finances, has been indicted on charges he stole more than $125,000 from the cash-strapped district. The 16-count indictment alleges Davis pocketed the money between 2004 and 2010. He says he will not resign his school board seat and calls the charges a "politically charged" retaliation.
