South Dakota official will introduce charter legislation

From The Pierre Capital-Journal: South Dakota Education Secretary Tom Oster says his office will offer legislation allowing charter schools to be operated in the state. Under the proposal, charter schools would need the consent of local school boards in the districts where they would be situated.
