Fairfax County high school copes with crowding

Annandale High has 500 more students than it was designed to hold
Sept. 8, 2010

From The Washington Post: Annandale High School, with about 500 more students than it was designed to hold, is the most crowded high school in the Fairfax County (Va.) district. By mid-October, the school hopes to open temporary classrooms in what had been a parking lot, and the district has begun the process of redrawing boundaries to reduce the number of students at the school over the next few years.
