Detroit moves forward with 3 high school renovations

$59 million in upgrades will take about a year

From The Detroit News: The Detroit school system is pushing forward with $59.3 million in construction projects for three high schools that serve nearly 4,000 students. Renovation at Henry Ford High School is slated to cost $17 million; Denby, $16.5 million; and Western International, $26.8 million. Work is expected to be completed by fall 2011.
