Lawsuit wants New York City charter schools to pay for space in city school facilities

City typically provides charter schools with space for a nominal fee

From The New York Times: A group of 25 public school parents in New York City are suing the city school system, demanding that charter schools be required to pay for the space they use in public schools. About two-thirds of the 125 or so charter schools in the city are in public school buildings. The city generally provides the space for a nominal fee, such as a token $1 a year, the lawsuit says.
