Neighbors want school to quiet down

Columbus, Ohio, charter school is sued by area residents

Some Columbus, Ohio, residents are suing a charter school that they say has become a neighborhood nuisance with menacing students, loud outdoor activities and disruptive traffic. Residents living near Columbus Preparatory Academy complain that teachers use bullhorns and sirens during recess and that students trespass and harass their pets. About 80 people in 58 households near the school have filed a class-action lawsuit.
