Proposed Alpine (Utah) district bond election would seek $210 million

Election likely to occur in 2012 and would pay for five new schools

From The Provo Daily Herald: Alpine (Utah) School District has announced how it plans to spend a proposed $210 million bond, likely to be put to a public vote in 2012. Officials announced a draft description of where the money would be used. Included are five new schools; reconstruction of three high schools, three junior highs and six elementary schools; earthquake improvements at 14 schools; and the purchase of property for an undetermined number of future school sites.
