Columbus (Ohio) school buses to get video surveillance

New vehicles will have at least 4 cameras and GPS

Scores of new school buses in the Columbus (Ohio) district will be equipped with multiple digital video cameras, aimed to monitor not just naughty students, but misbehaving drivers as well. The district's transportation director says each bus will be equipped with at least four color cameras synchronized with the vehicle's global-positioning system, which shows a bus's location, direction of travel and speed at any given moment.
