Thousands attended a dedication ceremony over the weekend for the new $103 million Plainfield (Ind.) High School. The spacious 476,000-square-foot building is the centerpiece of a 110-acre campus with a 4,000-seat football stadium. The Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired building cost more than $200 a square foot. The old high school building is 50 years old and lacks the space and technology needed for a modern high school. It has been remodeled and will become a middle school.
