Parents question police response to student fight at Maryland high school
Parents in Anne Arundel County, Md., have lodged formal complaints that accused police officers of responding improperly and injuring students while breaking up a brawl at Meade High School in Fort Meade on the last day of classes. Eleven students were arrested and five police officers suffered minor injuries in the fight last week. The skirmish began with two students quarreling about a stolen cellphone.
