From The Dallas Morning News: More Texas campuses could join University of Texas-Austin and Texas A&M on the list of the nation's best research universities if voters approve a constitutional amendment in November. Proposition 4 would let seven schools –- UT-Arlington, UT-Dallas and the University of North Texas, Texas Tech, the University of Houston, UT-El Paso and UT-San Antonio –- tap into a half-billion-dollar fund to help them become research powerhouses.
