Complaint says the board unfairly favored a contractor with ties to architect.
The Texas Education Agency is reviewing a complaint about how the contract to manage a $49 million school construction project was awarded in the Marble Falls district. The school board decide not to choose the company that had supervised its past construction projects and instead selected a company that has a closer relationship with the project's architectural firm. District officials and the architectural firm, SHW Group, say their selection process was fair.
