Elementary under construction in Buxton, Maine

850-student facility expected to open in 2010
Maine School Administrative District 6 has broken ground on a new, $28 million Buxton Elementary School. The K-5 school will serve Buxton students that now attend the town`s four existing schools. The building is being designed to serve a projected student body of 850 and is set to be completed in August 2010. The architect is Harriman Associates.
