Granite City (Ill.) voters rejects school bonds

$22 million request voted down

Granite City (Ill.) School District voters have turned down a proposed $22 million bond issue for building renovation and construction. The bonds would have paid for renovation or replacement of buildings that are in some cases more than 45 years old.
