Voters defeat funding request for third time in three years

For a third time in three years, Lockport Township (Ill.) High School District 205 officials have been rebuffed by voters in their effort to borrow money for school expansion. The district's wanted to borrow $153.7 million to build a new high school and add classrooms to the school's east campus.
