Charter school buys old Catholic high school in Philadelphia

Northeast Catholic High building will become new home of Mariana Bracetti Academy

From The Philadelphia Inquirer: A charter school has bought the former Northeast Catholic High School building in Philadelphia. The Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School paid the Archdiocese of Philadelphia $3.5 million for the building. The charter school, which opened in 2000, has 1,555 students in grades six through 12. Students will remain at the current site this academic year and will move to its new home next fall after completing renovations.
