Napa Valley district decided Wooden Valley Elementary wasn't economically feasible

From The Sacramento Bee: A one-room schoolhouse is closing after 160 years. After graduating its last class of fifth-graders, Wooden Valley Elementary School in the Napa Valley (Calif.) Unified School District is closing. District officials decided the school could no longer be sustained in an era of multimillion-dollar budget cuts, and they felt its students would be better served at larger schools in town.
