Elementary school construction planned in Concord, N.H.

Christa McAuliffe school will replace 2 existing campuses
Feb. 8, 2011

From The Concord Monitor: Workers preparing to build the Christa McAuliffe Elementary School in Concord, N.H., could begin this week demolishing seven nearby homes owned by the Concord School District. The district purchased the seven homes in 2007 as officials laid plans to consolidate the district's eight elementary schools. Officials determined they would merge Kimball and Walker schools into a new elementary school on the Kimball site, and plans call for the school and yard to take up most of the block.
