Illinois district ends its in-house busing operation

New Lenox (Ill.) School District buses have run their last routes. Starting next year, the district will contract bus service with the Lincoln-Way High School District, a move that is expected to save $100,000 a year. New Lenox says 57 of its 62 drivers have received jobs in Lincoln-Way,
